I was bored today so made some Neo Geo 3D images. You will need the usual red/cyan glasses to see them.

Still trying to master the process. I might build a rig to make it easier to shoot the pictures. With the rig you basically take 1 picture then slide the camera to the right about 2.5" then take another to create the left/right images.

You can make some of your own easily if you have photoshop to make the red/cyan.

Stereo Images. You don't need glasses for these you just have to cross your eyes just like those 5D images. Start with your face about 6" away then slowly pull away.

You can also just post the two pics side by side (reduced size of course) and get the stereoscopic view (stereogram) without any coloring in photoshop. You can freeview stereograms by crossing your eyes to get four images, then relax them until you only have 3 images, the middle one will be 3D.

Will have to grab my glasses and take a look at these when I get home.

Yeah I have both images but the stereograms don't really look good on stuff that doesn't have a huge layer difference.

I'll post one though.

The 3D revolution hits the Neo. ;)

Wish I had some of those fancy glasses to see the image.

Whoa. Forget what you heard before, the future is actually now.

It's been a looong time since I've seen a stereo image. Not one without nipples any ways.

LOL, no wonder why my stereo images don't look right. I forgot that stereo images are switched, left eye on the right and right eye on the left.

I'll fix it when I get home.

There are other stereoscopic images where you have to twist your eyes a bit to see the 3D effect, is it possible to do something like that with Photoshop as well? I prefer those over the red/cyan ones because you don't need special glasses.

Yes, I'll do those when I get home.

Spiffy stuff. I can't get stereoscopic ones to work. Maybe if I printed them out and fit them to fit in to the Tool 10,000 Days CD case. The blue/red ones look great, though. Thanks for the upload.

You don't need glasses for the stereos, you gotta cross your eyes for them to work. Takes getting used to. Now I can do it in like 2 seconds. Before it took me like 5 minutes to get it.

I can't cross my eyes to that extent. It'll give me headaches like you wouldn't believe. With the help of the lenses, it'll work. You should see some of the images in that album case, btw. The 3D effects on those images are impressive as hell.

Easiest way is start close to the pic and back out.

I also find it quite painful to look at those stereo ones. They do work though.

Ok they are fixed. Now check them out.

Awesome, thanks a lot man! :)

Here is a tip for those who have troubles with these stereoscopic pics: Put your index finger against the screen and focus it. Then slowly move it towards your eyes and keep the focus, if you do it right, the pic in the background will be in 3D.

These pics are best viewed on a flicker-free monitor, I've found that it's almost impossible to get the 3D effect on a normal tube monitor but it's no prob on the LCD screen of my laptop.

That 3D EPROM pornography is glorious. I mean, why the hell not.

I might make more of these, just because.

Funny timing, I was just starting to play with anagrams about a week ago... cool stuff.

I find that the more subtle ones actually look the most 3D to me, like your PCB pic.
