So I went ahead and picked it up since people were praising it.

So now I am playing it and I had a question, why is it when I buy ammo that it doesnt contribute in battle? I bought the gatling gun and bought 10 units of the ammo for it and then in battle I ran out of bullets and could not reload and when I checked I still had the 10 units I bought, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks guys.

edit: nevermind, I guess I had to put them in my backpack. :lolz:

It's great. Tactical strategy with mechas. No more needs to be said.

Yup, it's quite good. From what I remember, it was a bit short but otherwise pretty solid for a handheld strategy game.

I'd recommend picking it up.

It's been a few years since I've played it, but I remember it being a great game. It's kind of a mini-version of Front Mission, only less detailed.

Yeah, it's good. And you can get the "complete" (read: loose) US version for pretty cheap too!

One of the best NGPC games ever released in my opinion. Make sure you try and get the extra items like the sushi. They unlock special weopons when you sell them. Cant quite remember.

bump, need help now.

That's 'cos you have to equip the ammunition in your backpack. Faselei is a game as much about strategy as resource management. Unlike Metroidvania, which allows you to lug as many as 50 different weapons and tons of items, your mecha can only be equipped with as many weapons as your mecha can be fitted with, your moves are limited by how good the CPU, and the ammunition and rations depends on how large your backpack is. After you purchase ammo, weapons, cpu, etc., you need to go to the hangar to switch them in and out.

Pretty much what bokmeow said, Go to the hangar and equip your weapons & ammo its all a trial an error process, once you got it down it should be a breeze.

you also need the reload chip on your mech in battle.
the item chip is for HP repairs you need that too if you plane on healing.
some weapon slots can hold 2 weapons by hitting right or left whene you are equipting a weapon.

hope this helps

heres some tips
i like the renard mech (the 2nd hovering one) low HP but holds 6 weapons.
i always have 1 meele weapon equipt it helps on reloading (thay have 99 ammo).
this is good on the "tasks" whene you dont want to wast ammo.
the Call backup chip lets you refill to your max hp, cover fire, reload, or jammer +20% you can only use this chip on open fields.

One of the technicians develop better technology for you. I believe you'll have to visit the hanger frequently to check in on new stuffs. Sometimes you can capture new mechs on the battlefield. Oh and here's a hint, visit the training missions, there are some foods that will help you get some fancy toys with the shopkeep.
