EMS to JAPAN or Intl Priority to JAPAN?

I just want to make sure the parcel reaches it's destiny and 30 USD extra for tracking is just not going to happen unless Intl Priority will suffice.
Anybody have personal experience tracking Intl Priority they wish to share?

Sup Big Bear. If we're strictly talking japan, I've never had an issue sending or receiving packages via EMS. With that said, I've also never had a lost package with Intl Priority either; but there were delays. In my humble experience, Intl Priority is fine, but if arrival time is important, I only trust EMS.

The only international shipping horror stories I have are related to DHL.

I agree, Ems is awesome and avoid DHL.

EMS is the gold standard, but I've never had an issue with International Priority.
