Crossed Swords Neo Geo AES - English Question

Hello everyone, I have a quick question, I purchased a USA copy of Crossed Swords today for a really good price and it's in fantastic condition the only thing is the manual is the Japanese one, not the English-text one. I would suspect that somebody pieced this game together since no other system really ever had different regions paperwork come together, but the case, cart and manual are in such crisp condition and the baggy over the manual hardly looks handled that I was wondering if any Neo Geo English games ever came with Japanese manuals inside. Sort of like how lots of copies of Magician Lord and Baseball Stars have Japanese labels under the American ones. Thanks for everyone's help.

My US copy of KOF98 came with English manual and the Japanese movelist booklet. Not sure if the movelist was originally in all US copies or it was eventually added by the first owner.
