B1 Mode on XRGB3 blank on BenQ Monitor

I went ahead and got the XRGB3 hoping it would work in B1 mode on my RL2460HT. Upgraded all the firmware. Works fine in B0 (although it does ripple with the NES). But using composite or s-video in B1 mode just comes up with a blank screen, and yes I am using a VGA cable. Tried all the resolutions with no success. I don't have a JP21 Scart cable, so I'm stuck for now with composite and S-Video. I need to use B1 because of the significant drop in lag.

Any ideas on how to correct this issue?

Thanks for the help in advance.

so your input source for the XRGB is composite? and your output is VGA? Does that even look acceptable?

S-Video looks good on the Asus. Composite has ripples at the top.

But I can't for the life of me get B1 mode to work on my BenQ. I've tried every setting that I can think of.

Anybody have any tips?

Got the B1 mode figured out. I had the display size originally set to 1:1. I changed the setting to aspect and it now works in B1 mode. The only issue I'm seeing is slight rippling at the top.

Any ideas why it ripples?
