My RBS looks legit, but behaves in a way that makes me question it’s authenticity (or my intelligence).

In a JPN 4 slot, where every other cart demos and plays in ‘gana, ‘kana, and kanji…and has blood:

this RBS is in English, and has sweat. What gives? Does the cloudy nut colored G cart come with nut/sweat as the default fluid?

You sure this isn't a Korean version? Check the P1 ROM chip, see what is printed on it.

The label isn't original so therefore the cart shell could be a replacement too.

It doesn't matter. 1994 is just when the PROGBK1 board was designed. Most PROGBK1's say 1994.
