Backup system.

Had some dingy grey support poles in the basement, that I had been wanting to do something with for years, but never got around to it. I figured the cheapest thing to do was paint them, and then I found some inexpensive vinyl racing stripes on Etsy. It’s kind of a nod to the MVS.

I just checked, and I ordered the Fast Striker AES game in March of 2018. So this March, that will make 5 year wait…so far. I was fortunate to receive Kraut Buster, so thankfully, Fast Striker is the only thing I have on order with them.

”Late 2023” now, for the Fast Striker AES 2nd print. In other words, don’t expect it this year.

Anyone try the MVS 161 in 1 version 3 yet?

When I saw the game announced, the first thing I did was recommend they make a Neo version. I don’t have any current consoles, nor do I have any desire to buy another console. But I’ll support the occasional new game coming out for a retro console.

The Neo is connected through S-video in the back of the tv. The composite is currently just going to a switch box, in case I want to use it for other systems.

I picked up a 27” flatscreen crt recently, off craigslist. The picture is amazing for old-school systems.

I know this topic is over a year old, but this kit sounds like a fun project. If anyone else is on the fence about getting an OMVS shell (like me) because of the $100 price, I noticed on the LaserBear website that you can order shell with imperfections for $30. I ordered one, and it is really...
