RIP. He had a good run, though. It's kind of crazy how well all of the Bond actors are aging as a group... playing Bond is turning out to be the opposite of playing Superman.

Sad news indeed. Moore's Bond movies were on TV all the time growing up. We spent many Christmases watching them together as a family. I remember going to see A View to a Kill while on holiday in South Africa in 1985. Great memories of a simpler time.

Very sad news. I always liked the way he played Bond, he gave the character a smartass twist.

Been a hell of a last 24 hours over here in the uk for all the wrong reasons unfortunately.
My favourite bond and in general an all round old school gentleman, always great fun to see him in films, tv shows and interviews.
RIP sir roger moore, you've had your halo since your saint day's my friend.

Connery is not far behind. He's pretty frail in his 80's as well.

89 is a long life for a man, RIP my favorite bond. I want to see footage of the actual love scene between him and Grace Jones. She probably broke his dick.

Wow what are the odds, I turn on my Mac in my work room to play music, hit random and it plays View to a Kill. Crazy.

Never really seen any Roger Moore bond movies, which is the best one? They all seem pretty campy

I'm expecting them to leave him in the mortuary, assuming he's dead, at which point he'll make his sly escape with a watch based gadget, full tux, eyebrow raised.

Here's to you, Mr Moore.
