"What do I do? I punch babies. Down at the baby-punching factory. Pays $25/hr."Many middle aged women will overlook a ton...including what you do for a living, if the price is right.
I don't think this is totally uncommon- over the course of my life, the one girl I ever really truly loved wasn't my ex-wife (who is bonkers). The one girl was my best friend for all of junior high and high school and several years in college. Um, I guess that's about 10 years or so. Thing was! She was a Mormon. She tried to get me to convert, and I believed then and still believe to this day that if I had been willing to, we would have ended up married. We were really, really close, but I couldn't get myself to think yeah, I'm cool with saying I believe this stuff for the rest of my life when I really don't.Pretty much
By the time we were 23 or so, she did what Mormon girls do- she married an older guy (back from his mission) who had a good job but it seemed pretty clear she didn't love him. She sent me an invite to the reception (non-Mormons can't go to the wedding!) but I never considered going. Haven't talked to her since. I don't know her last name anymore, so I can't find pictures, and hell, I don't know what I'd think if she was still as pretty now. Or huge and scary.
