In any case, I noticed how many posts the wwe thread has but then I checked the first post dates and this thread is nearly 2 years newer than that wrestling one.

Congrats to TonK getting post #10,000.

You know, it's amazing I started this thread when I was only a sophomore at the University of Central Florida back in Spring 2005. There has been so much car discussion over these past 3 years of this thread being around. When you look back on it we talked about diesel cars, rotary cars, the new age of muscle cars, pony cars, go fast station wagons (I miss CFF's posts) and car news.

Congratulations everybody (Mushiki, lithy, TonK, Kim _Kaphwan, Nakoruru, not sonic, OrochiEddie, Magnaflux and everybody else) on 10,000 posts and here's to the next 10,000!

so word on the street is that the new camaro seats more like a mustang than a vette.

i was sold on the car before i heard this. my favorite thing about my car is the low seating.

but i might end up looking at used vettes for a purchase instead. or just avoid car payments and put the down payment into my car.:emb:


anyone ever read the comments on autoblog? bunch of fuckin assholes over there. everyone seems to hate every car unless its a supercar or gets 100mpg.

I'm finding some leaded fuel, and pollute the fuck out of this green planet...

i like the way it looks. i like the charger and i really like the avenger. but the cost, damn.

i cant believe its only getting 15mpg when gm can get ~30 highway out of the lsx engines.

i never used to care about fuel economy but paying over $50 to fill up my tiny tank on regular is getting old.

I heard through the grapevine the Chevrolet Volt will cost $40,000.

FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS.

I still don't think much of hybrids, but I may be proven wrong in the marketplace. The rationale some people have of alleviating a $300/month fuel bill with a $400/month new car payment doesn't make sense mathematically. We engineers love efficiency but not at the expense of economics.

I've had fleeting thoughts of selling my car, but the math doesn't work.

Is it sad that most of my posts are in this 1 thread? hahaha. I was surprised to see my name so high in the list of posters on this thread actually. Hopefully, half of them have been useful. :lolz:

As for leaded gas, you can still buy it at the pump .... at a VP station or a place that sells race gas anyway. ;)

You would need to be cat-less though (Or if not, you will essentially be soon enough. ahha ).
