unibios compatibility issues?

Recently I ran into an odd problem with my updated 3.0 unibios. The problem is that when I put it in my 4 slot or 2 slot, it doesn't register. It gives a garbled screen as if no bios was installed. Yet, this same bios works perfectly fine on my MV-1C (mod done by JMKurtz). I know it's not the 2 slot or 4 slot, because when I put in the normal bios, they works perfectly fine. And I know it's not the bios because it works perfectly in the 1 slot and the bios upgrade was done by JMKurtz, and he obviously knows what he's doing.

So I was wondering if anyone can tell me what's up with this. The eeprom is a Toshiba I believe.

I'll take a Poke and ask if it's being put in..in the right direction.

I have no clue what this looks like and how it goes in..

check your solder points... and make sure it's seated well in the socket......

I once couldn't get 1.3 on my aes despite the fact that my debug 4x and orginginal bioses worked. I resoldered the pins and it worked fine...

I'm really not sure whats happening there, Id have to go with the bios being put in the wrong way also or a badly programmed bios/chip. Who actually did the upgrade for you, was it me?

It's not put in the wrong way, that's for sure. The soldering on it seems fine, since the original USA bios works on it without any problem when I pop it in.

Razoola - JMKurtz did the upgrade for me, using a bios you sold me a while back. As I mentioned before, this bios works on my 1 slot perfectly, yet on my 2 and 4 slots, it doesn't register.

I'm as baffled as anyone on this.

Can you see the chip device type written on the top of the chip? Tell me what it says?
