naomi question?

Hi, i have a question about noami BIO. my naomi motherboard BIOS is Rev E. Can i play JPver and USver games on my naomi ?

It is not important important what revision your bios is for games compatibility (it is important for GDROM compatibility and networking), the important thing is what region it is from. Most games will play in any region bios, but some will only play in an specific region. For example the Japanese wrestling games will not play in an US bios.

Your bios will play both.

If your Bios is Export or USA region everything should be in english. If the bios is Japan then everything will play in japanese.

There is only a small handful of games that will only work on a japanese bios (most jpn wresseling games, Sfa3u, and a couple more).

If need be you can always get a naomi epprom bios burned for $30. Sega-naomi.com links to a site that will burn naomi bios epr.
