Anyone who kows anything about arcade playing in the UK will have wanted a candy sit down style fighting cabinet all their life.

The problem is that these NEVER get imported to the UK.

Well- I found this auction last night on ebay for a 29" japanese sit down fighter Cabinet new. Its beautiful as you can see.

The problem is that we all know this cab will go for an extortionate amount (these cabs ALWAYS do when they surface once every 6 months or so in the UK).

So I e-mailed the guy to ask asbout his second cab and, surprise, so have about thirty other people. Interest has been so high that he's decided, if he gets enough pre-orders, to put in a new order of twenty, slightly smaller (and more manageable) 25" cabinets. These will cost a measly £299 each OMG!!!! (excuse my schoooboy outbursts but this is bloody good news).

If you are interested then you'll be wanting to e-mail the guy and put your name down for one before they get gobbled up.

So for anyone who wants a non-crusty old whore of a UK Jamma cab but a slinky new white japanese sit down fighter/ shooter cab e-mail TJ at: sales@killercabs.com

These are the pics of the 29" moniter one

All that glitters is not gold....

How do you mean- that's a pretty good deal for a UK cabinet consumer by any stretch.

I'll probably still keep my 6-slot simply because its SNK branded...

Just a quick note: Tony has asked that anyone e-mailing with questions please mark the e-mail subject:

CAB QUESTION

This will ensure he gets back asap.

If you're placing an order the mark as:

No- they aren't SNK cabs- but I never said they were...

You would need your own MVS board to go in.

Just wait til you get one home, then you'll see why all that glitters is not gold

/trys to not sound argumentative

does anyone care to outline why these are NOT a bargain in detail ? or maybe even point me in the direction of an alternative for a similar price thats allready in the UK - all I know is mine looks nice with a hyper64 running and I am more than happy with it

I spoke to him about this a few months back - safe guy.

I want a 29 off him; does anyone have pictures of a 25? I might be down on the list.

the Galaxy 25's are exact same cabinet & button layout as the Galaxy 29's , the only difference is the screen size, anyway http://www.killercabs.com site should be live soon and as soon as it is there will be quite a large amount of details & pictures on the cabinets for everyone to browse over and judge for themselves.

I've been in contact with Tony for a while now and all i can say is that he is one of the nicest guys out there, he will go out of his way to help you out. If you want a Candy style cab in the UK this is probably the only real way you're gonna get one, unless you want to import one yourself :oh_no:

I'd also like to know what the problems with these machines are, as i haven't heard any negative comments any where else. I can understand that for the price they're not gonna be as solid as say a Sega Astro City Cab or indeed a Neo cab.

I'm down on the list for one of these. From the little contact I've had with Tony so far I would agree that he seems a very nice and genuine guy. He sent me an FAQ which I guess he has written to go on the site when it becomes live (I'm guessing you guys have recieved a copy of this too) and I'm satisfied that he's honest.

"this is where my family have lived and worked for 15 years, and we can deal with companies in person"

"We do this primarily as a hobby, so we try and keep the stress levels low!"

"We’re also human beings, we’re not robots – this is something we’re passionate about, and we hope that everyone that orders sticks around and contributes to the community / web site."

I must admit I'm quite excited about this venture. ;)

I must say I'm pretty tempted by the 25" Candy.

Seems almost too good to be true....?

Anyone here actually got one?
