Because he owes me either a consolized mvs or my money back. And I havnt heard from him in about three weeks. Here was the original selling thread http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93419 .
I paid him on june 18. The agreement was that he would have it shipped to me sometime in the middle of july. Reasons being that he had some work related matters to deal with and that he needed time to repaint it. That was fine and I gladly accepted the deal.
July came and went without it being completed. I asked him a couple of times on the staus of it during that time and he replied that he wasnt able to finish it yet because he was busy. Again that was understandable and I was willing to wait a little longer for it.
Well when August 14th rolled around I was getting rather frustrated with the whole matter and decided to call it off. I PMed him saying that if he wasnt able to finish it within the next week to forget about the whole thing and to just refund the money. He replied on the 19th that he understands and that it would take him a couple of weeks to collect the money for a refund. Now that made me even more frustrated knowing that he spent the money without even fufilling his end of the bargain. I PMed him back saying that if it would take a couple of weeks to raise the money then perhaps he could finish the MVS system with in that time. I would rather have the system then the money.
After that I havnt heard back from him. I sent him another PM on the 30th and one yesterday asking him what was the status on the system or the money. And as far as I know those last three PMs have not been read.
I dont believe he is ripping me off at all. I had another deal with him during this whole time and it went fine. And I know im not very patient when it comes to matters of money. But the way I look at it is if someone pays you half a grand upfront . Where the only guarantee is that persons word . Then the least you could do is give that matter a little priority
. I know $500.00 bucks is chump change to some on this board. But for me its a good sum of money.
