I am asking for help from the Japanese residents because they know the culture, I don't.

Well, it doesn't hurt to leave your question out here and still read what they have to say. In the end though, the best route to take is to ask her yourself.

I'm pretty much in agreement with B.I.G. on that it's not a bad situation at all, I mean if you want her to call then when you're with her just tell her to call you tomorrow/later/etc to make plans or something...

although like others say if it really bothers you then yeah, just bring it up...

I know you said forget it, but a lot of cultures do have the guy making the initial moves -particularly in the early stages of the relationship which sounds like where you are right now.

Still, I think you made a good decision to just ask her. Honestly can work wonders.
