How did you guys like that first feeder band ?

lost power for about 5 minutes during that short squall ,

now its quiet outside and there is a nice sunset .....we have a long 24 hours ahead of us ....

I am in Fort Lauderdale , in Broward county .
I my home was in an evacuation zone so I had to leave . and am now at my Moms house ....dont worry my games have been moved too

I went back to clermont to chill with my dad this weekend. The little first thing only drizzled for like five minutes, wont really hit until tommorow night.

Yeah, there was the squall, and then nothing. Man, where I live in Coral Springs, it's a damn ghost town here. I'm just hoping that this thing is over with over the weekend so I can enjoy Labor Day...
It appears that the thing has changed course a little... I don't know what to think about now. :eek_2:

NO !!!! dont do that thats an old wives tale.....actually they say thats a bad thing to do because if powerful winds shoot into your house it will push the roof up from the inside of the house .

A tree across from where I am staying is damaging a powerline pole and its popping and sparking .....great but scary fireworks!

Its not really a wives tale. It happened to my friend that lives in PC. Closed an open window, then closed a door, as soon as the door close the pressure shot out the window and ripped the door out.

You are pretty darn close to the end of the game my friend........those spiders will get quite fast as you progress .

If the wind is powerful enough to push the roof up from the inside of the house, then chances are, it'll break a window, no problem. Besides, what would direct the wind upward? Maybe it would blow a hole in your wall or something.
