New to vids and, of coarse, Hyper 64. When I first turn on my Roads Edge it fails the communication boot (communication boot ng). I can eventually get it to pass and play the game without any other problem. Once the game has passed the start up, I can turn it off and back on and it will still start up fine, but, if I leave it off and let things cool down, it starts failing the communication boot again.
Any clues?
Thank you for your help

Fix

Hi
Just wanted to follow up with what fixed this problem in case anyone else has a similar issue. I removed the case from the motherboard and reinstalled it in the game. With power on, I began pressing different areas of the board and found that my boot problem would clear. Turned out to be one of the chips that had a poor connection. I'm at work now and don't remember the exact identifier but it was a small quad-flatpack. It was very difficult to reflow due to the small leads but I finally managed. Roads Edge is now booting great for several days now.
Hope this helps someone if they have a similar problem. I'm not sure why they mounted the board in the seat, especially with all the vibration in there. Not a good idea.
