I still hope capcom does one more LEGIT 2-D street fighter game before they retire from 2-D fighters, honestly the VS shit has gotten old.

I love the look of the background in the middle shot. Too bad people are saying there's no mvement in the backgrounds...I think they look great in still shots. Can't wait to try this game...thanks for the pics.

I still don't believe this game is going to come out, and that it's all some huge practical joke by Capcom. I mean, those screens look absolutely nothing but horrible, like a fan with lots of time on his hands made those.

Meh. Looking at one of the bgs, I can tell Capcom just dumped a plethora of old art and characters just to make it seem "nostalgic" as far watching other people just street fight. It that's the case, why not use rennovated bgs w/ only a few cameos here and there instead of just littering the bg w/ half the cast of CvS2?

Still looks better than SvC, but that ain't saying much.
I gotta say though, once KoF2k2 and SFAC finally show up for the Box, I think the online comp would be all I'd ever need.
That said, I still hope CFJ is a fun game. I still can't figure out for the life of me why they'd NOW choose to bust out with the Warzard characters. Really bizarre decision.
A truly badass, definitive farewell to the Street Fighter series is what's sorely needed. No shortcuts, reused sprites, or any bullshit. Give a real sendoff to the series that spawned the entire genre.

It's real, check out the video in the other thread. I don't see what looks so horrible about it...the backgrounds would look good if they moved, the character sprites aren't any lower rez or less detailed than typical CPS-2/Neo Geo stuff, and I love the style Shinkiro's used for the character illustrations...reminds me of the way I used to paint in gouache.Zeekade Zarathos said:

If I was going to choose 4 characters from each game, I would've chosen Ryu, Guile, Zangief, and Dhalsim from SF2, Guy, Sakura, Rose, and Birdie from SF Alpha, Alex, Yun, Chun-Li and Urien (or maybe Makoto or Dudley) for SF3, and Gallon, Anakaris, Zabel, and Donovan or Rei Rei from Vampire. That's pretty close to what they came up with, so I'm pretty happy.
