Gather round kiddies, it's question time...
:D

Well, 2K3's been out for a while now, but sadly I still have not managed to get time to track one down and play for myself yet

Now that many have been able to explore the many intricacies of the game and really get a feel for it, I gotta pose this question:

Early on, many people complained that the clock timer was too quick and often resulted in "Time Over" as opposed to allowing for a more decisive match. Is this still the case or have player strats adjusted to the shorter time frame?

Thanks in advance people...

I also have few a couple of questions:

- during a match, BC is supposed to call the 2nd character and CD calls the 3rd character. however, sometimes one of these commands brings the other command's character. say if I was playing with character #1 and I pressed BC, sometimes character #3 comes in instead of character #2. does this happen randomly?

- also, can you control which side the called character jumps in?

thanks

in our arcades, no. it's not a problem at all. that's unless you spend most of the time turtling. I think a match lasts for 180 seconds.

When I went to the cades to play competitively around release, 8 out of 10 matches were a time out. It really sucks cause when the time gets low it forces you to be aggressive.

Pressing BC and having the 3rd char come out is a bug. It seems pretty random but it happens more with some characters than others. Whenever I have Duo in my team it happens the most. It's a pain in the ass because it can fuck up your tag combos but it doesn't happen often enough to make a real difference.

You can't control which side the tagger comes in on. There are 3 different types of characters. 1) those that will tag into the front of the oppenent. 2) those that will tag into behind 3) those that come in randomly.
1 is by far the most. 2 is next in line. 3 is just a few characters.

Time out isn't as big of a problem these days as it was on release. Most people have adjusted their styles for the time but it's still really quick. It sucks against characters like Malin that thrive on running the clock. More time outs than any other KOF though.

Hmm I never had this situation before:

1st char: BC- 2nd char
CD- 3rd char

2nd char: BC- 3rd char
CD- 1st char

3rd char: BC- 1st char
CD- 2nd char

Yes that is how it's supposed to be. There are times when it glitches and you get the wrong character though. It only happens during tag attacks and not normal tags however. I'm sure of it 100%
