How the hell did I not hear about a new Romero zombie movie?

I was quite happy when I heard the news a few few weeks ago. 
As for it being in the works for 8 years, Romero has been trying to sell a script for that long without any luck due to the less than huge success Day of the Dead turned out to be (I fucking love that movie though). Production never started back then and no deals were officially signed and the script has changed since then as well. Apparently 9/11 gave Romero some new ideas for the movie. Can't wait for this one!

The worst thing is that shit like The House of the Dead and Resident Evil get made, but Romero can barely scare up the money for a new zombie movie. Give Romero half the budget of one of those shit stains they call movies, and he could make something fantastic.

I honestly didn't like Day of the Dead when I first saw it. Last year when the DVD of Day was released is when I started to really like it. I still have to give a slight edge to Dawn, but I really like Day also. I think after watching Dawn of the Dead, I had high expectations that Day would be something similar, but I didn't realize how great it was until just last year. Ive been waiting for romero to get approved to make his 4th film. This deal was made I believe 2-3 weeks ago mabe longer I forget when I heard about it. All I got to say is TIGHT!!!!! I guess I can buy the new day of the dead coming out to hold me for bit from romeros 4th film. Im just scared that the new director fucks the day of the dead: contagium up. THERE BETTER BE BLOOD AND GORE!!!! WHERE THE HELL IS TOM SAVINI DAM NITZ!
