is that a WRC Citroen C4?
It's the Citroën Xsara T4 WRC, but that's neither here nor there since that's just my sig.

To be on topic, Honda winning this early is just too amazing.

Goes to show you that Honda can build naturally aspirated V8's with the best of them.

And is that the new NSX? Its about time they updated it since the basic design and specs are basically the same from the '90s. i-Vtec V8 anyone?

The awesome part for Honda is too that it's only their second year in IRL and just dominating. I hope that maybe sometime soon BAR-Honda would be tops in F1, but that may not be for a little while because of how dominant Ferrari is.

Yeah but Honda is seriously kicking ass in F1 this year. I couldnt beleive it. A few more seasons and Ferrari and McLaren may have to start sweating the F1 season.

Yeah, BAR-Honda is doing better. But Ferrari is still handing everybody their ass on a silver platter:

1. Ferrari - 202

2. Renault - 91

3. BAR-Honda - 83

4. Williams-BMW - 54

5. McLaren-Mercedes - 37

6. Sauber-Petronas - 19

7. Toyota - 8

8. Jaguar-Cosworth - 7

9. Jordan-Ford - 5

10. Minardi-Cosworth - 1

They're already beating the shit out of Williams and McLaren, which I never would've expected.

I'm sorry, but that scares me. Honda and to an extent Ferrari F1 are suffering from the NY Yankees syndrome- throw a lot of money at their program and dominate. This is depressing, especially since the IRL was built on inexpensive racing where it's talent, not budget. Now, if you don't have the budget, forget about winning races. Depressing... :oh_no: :oh_no: :oh_no:
On the other hand, I'm actually glad that Toyota didn't waltz into the Craftsman Truck Series and dominate: it seems to be one of the last forms of motorsport where talent, not budget, reigns supreme.

Nops.

It's the Honda HSC. Not a newer NSX. NSX rules too.

This one houses a brilliant Vtec V6 ( not V8, dunno why ) with 300HP ( damn japanese protocols ! ) on a powerfull 3.5 liters Engine. Can only be good stuff.

Throwing a lot of money at a sport doesn't guarantee success. For example, the New York Rangers STILL haven't made the playoffs and had the largest payroll in the NHL for a quite a few years. And the other example is Toyota in F1, they're throwing $400 million and still only have 7 more points than Minardi who only spends around $40 million. But I think it's only a matter of time before Toyota is dominant at F1 now they seem to have the right drivers (Ralf Schumacher and possibly Jarno Trulli).

Not to mention both Williams and McLaren each have a much larger budget than Renault, who is trouncing both of them anyway.

True, but when Honda can waltz into the IRL and outspend Chevrolet and Toyota, and clinch the manufacturer's title with a third of the schedule still to be run, it worries me a little. What happened to parity?

Another good thing about NASCAR: you don't need to spend $400 million to be competitive, just $25-30 million. And in the Busch series, Ashton Lewis Jr. has no sponsorship, yet he still found a way into the top 10! :buttrock:
