Jap SF 3rd strike CPS3 vs. US SF 3rd Strike CPS3

Now I'm considering picking this game up but being that I can't find the US version I might as well get the Jap one. Is there a difference between the two?

all my CPS 3 stuff is japanese , I'd say go for it man, 3s is waaay better on CPS3 than the DC or PS2 versions, TBH, I got the PS2 version couple of weeks back, feels a bit broken, and I'm sure Capcom have done the same with PS2 3s as what they did with PSOne Alpha 3, ie: shrunk the characters

I hear there are different versions of 3s that were not as widely circulated as the ones that some people consider the "official" version. The DC version was based on this release, which removed the unblockables and some other esoteric stuff. Don't know if that version came out in the US or if it's was Japan only on CPS3....

what unlockables? Only thing i can think of is gil and he is definately playable
