Hello,well..It's that time to put some new strings on the ol' gefiddle. This is the first time I have ever had to do this, and I'd like to try it for myself. Can someone give a good "walkthrough" on how to do this without too much difficulty? Any help would be appreciated. If it helps, they are Ernie ball Super Slinky. The only reason I have to put a whole new set on,is because I popped the A string, and if I put a new Super Slinky A string on...it might effect the sound compared to the others.
So,if you can help me out, please do. Thanks and regards.... Tim

You... just... put the little strings through the little holes...

It's not exactly rocket science, each string is a different thickness going in progression from thickest to thiniest. Just put them on and tune... The only tricky part is making sure you get them wrapped nicely around the tuners so they don't slip. I find pulling up on the strings after they are wrapped helps.

I guess if this is your first time replacing strings, um, have an extra pair handy in case you break one trying to put it on... but really, it's not something I think anyone would find a difficult process.

Ok 1 more question.Do you feed the whole string through the tuning pegs,or the edge and then turn? Thanks,Tim
