I noticed this while browsing some shops` pages

What are your impressions of it?

After seeing it I now consider modding my ps2 for the first time seriously, Since for it to have a PAL release, hell would have to freeze many times 0var.

It's a great game, I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said, if you need some more info, check out the shoot 'em up thread stickied on the top (info is buried a few pages back).

I took a break from Gradius V to play this game all day, that's how good it is. Get your shit modded or buy a JPS2.

ESPGaluda is a great game, but I would mod my PS2 for Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou before ESPGaluda. Galuda is a ton of fun in typical Cave fashion, but I still think that DOJ is an overall better game. I still play it more than Galuda, and I have had it for much longer.

What's the difficulty like compared to DAI-OU-JOU? That game simply rocks my ass, on a scoring and survival level.

I have every intention of owning Galuda at some point, I've just been too poor since it came out.

ESPgaluda is pretty damn hard, but a little easier than Daioujou. On one credit I can get to the 3rd level boss of daioujou, on ESPgaluda I can get to the 4th level boss. I've been trying to improve my cave shooter playing the last couple months, but I've completely hit a wall.

ESPgaluda is easier because you have a lot more ways to survive. You can slow down bullets and you have a bomb.

Definately pick it up! It's been a wicked year for shooters on ps2 so far!!!

Difficulty (IMO) is night and day. Galuda is much, much easier when directly compared to Dai-Ou-Jou. You have the ability to slow down bullets in Galuda, as well as being able to absorb them and fire back.

If DDPDOJ turned you off simply because of its difficulty seems aimed at only a handful of people, try Galuda, you'll be in for an excellent surprise.

edit: didn't see you posted up that answer RBJake, sorry man. :)
