Ok so I need to clear something up. I have what I thought were USA kits of Buriki One and SS64. I've recently been informed that they are infact Korean versions and that SS64 is deffinitely censored and Buriki One may be censored.
Can somebody shed some light on regions and how to tell between them? Are there even USA versions or are all English kits actually Korean? Is Buriki One likely to be censored outside of Japan?, does it even have blood? Also what is the extent of the censoring on SS64 if it is Korean? Can't I just crank up the violence level through the test mode or run it in Japanese mode?
I am yet to actually get around to firing up my Hyper 64 gear being as my supergun is broken and I haven't yet got around to fixing it, so I'm yet to play any of my games.
Any help appreciated as usual.

In SS64 Shiki lacks the ever so important dragon tatoos over her back and legs, there is an annoying Krink annaouncer + the violence is toned down....

With Buriki, there isn't too much to worry about....(I think) :eye: :eye:

Good question. I don't know if there is a way to tell by looking at the cart. I have all four games that are Japanese versions (have text on labels/boxes in Japanese) and I have an additional FF:WA US version (text on label/box in English.)

Anyone have a known Korean cart that might be able to shed some light?

From what I know, there is a Korean version of the Hyper Neo Geo 64 motherboard that only plays the Samurai Showdown games. Therefore, if you put a Buriki One or a Fatal Fury Wild Ambition cart in a Korean motherboard, the games will simply not work.

As for censoring, all I know is that there is no blood for the Korean versions of the Samurai Showdown games.

I have all English versions of the four fighting games, and they are not censored at all when I play with my English motherboards. As a matter of fact, I can set the violence level through the test mode.
