Though that unit is the most rare, I think it was for Singapore & Korea, makes sense Malaysia would have the same??

heh. I wish it was the Samsung system. I'm almost sure its a common model as the Samsung thing was Korean orientated. Where european saturns made in Malaysia? strange question I know - most people don't check up on stuff like this.

:shame: Samsung didn't make a Saturn console, only Sega, JVC/ Victor, and Hitachi made Saturn consoles.

The kind of model that comes with diseases and death.

I wouldn't touch those things with a fucking 10 foot pole.

yar, I had read up on that - very cool. Aint it funny when someone tries to debase what you're saying, without even considering the fact you may know something they don't?

Heh yeah, especially considering I know everything about everything:tickled:

All those who oppose me will be crushed!!

Actually, they were supposed to.

Hitachi, Samsung, and Victor (aka JVC) all had permission to make their own Sega Saturns since I believe they all made chips for it or something to that nature. Hitachi came out with the Hitachi HiSaturn (which had a karaoke add-on as well as a extra video card thing to help the Saturn have higher quality movies) and later on they made the Hitachi GPS Navi HiSaturn, a Sega Saturn with a screen and a built in GPS Navigation system (and if anyone has one they are trying to sell I have 2000$ with your name on it...).

JVC made two models as well, although neither of them had any special extras. I believe the two models were just based off of the two regular models, one having oval buttons and the other having circle buttons. These are called the V-Saturns.

The Samsung model on the other hand, never got officially made. If there are models floating around out there, then they're just proto-types since the Samsung Saturn never actually made it to store shelves.

It did though, Samsung were the official distributor for Sega in Korea.

Some refer to it as a clone, but its made with mostly proper parts.

The 2nd Victor Saturn is so sexy in that two tone grey & green, i'll snap that sukka up one day.
