Okay, so AVP apparently sucks monkey balls.

Instead I recommend "Maria Full of Grace". (moviefone listing)

Incredible movie. Real, distrubing, a good flick.

If you're daring, see it on a date. You'll find out real quick how intelligent and/or mature your date is.

(the female lead in gorgeous, btw)

I saw the trailer for Maria Full of Grace when I went to see Super Size Me. After viewing it I decided that I wanted to see MFoG for sure. Do you know if it's only playing in Indy Theatres or in some bigger Theatres? :rolleyes:

While i know its supposed to look that way, the posted makes me think she's like chihuahua about to snap up and get her treat.

I don't know why, you'd think 4 years of Catholic school would make me lean towards communion.

6 years of Catholic school and an early childhood of Sunday school didn't help me either.

I'm going to scheck this out. It's playing near my parents' place.

Old post I know but just saw Maria Full of Grace as part of an international film festival, they were showing Hotel Rwanda and something else but we didn't feel like wasting the whole day watching movies.

Great movie, Maria is beautiful, although does anyone think that US Customs might have been portrayed as overly effective ;)

PS Everytime I typed Maria I actually wrote Mario and had to go back to fix it, including this 3rd time.

AVP is one of the best comedies of all time.

I'm glad you liked it.

It was actually written and directed by an American guy.

I was happy to see the lead actress got a nomination, what a surprise that was.

i saw it in the theatre earlier this year with my gf. [she was the one that wanted to see it actually]. it was pretty good.

I totally agree :). (I still remeber shouting, "Jamacia's got a Bobsled team" when that lady and the preditor where shotting up the ice tunnel... You know a movie blows when you can mock in loadly during the climax and people laugh with you instead of getting mad)
