Ya did the right thing.... Warriors Rage is arguably the best looking, most stylized, etc... my only grievance is that it lacked Kuroko......

PS: where did you get it and how much did you pay?

HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warrior's Rage is the shit!

You made a wise investment my friend. :glee:

Unlike Samurai Showdown 64, which was a true 3-D game, this game is basically a 3-D graphics game with 2-D mechanics. It is a return to its roots if I may say so.

I paid £85 for it including delivery in the UK - was this a good price? (Thats about $155)

Its for a new game in the box with all the artwork (or so I'm told..) - obviously I'll report on this when I get the item..

So, the original Shodown 64 game is in full 3D? (gameplay that is - like Virtua Fighter 3) Anyone wanna voice some opinions on this?

What should I get next Shodown 64 (the 1st one) or FF: Wild Ambition?

Buriki One looks a bit too crazy for my tastes - though I intend to get them all :)

Hmmmm Yes....thats a good way of putting it....SS64 plays like a combination of virtua fighter and SamSpi4 (with free roaming triggered by one of the buttons) I thing some people are of the opinion that its better for its complimentary artwork, atmosphere and music despite the jagged polygons.....

Graphically speaking, I think from best to worst it goes like this:
Buriki One>FFWA>ss642>ss64....I don't know where those racing/shooting games stand in all of that....but it won't matter unless you get designated cabs....

Despite the wierd controls, I think it's pretty cool they have Ryo Sakazaki in Buriki One....very cool....

PS: expect graphics that are inferior to dreamcast and superior to N64 on these carts....the sound however.....blows fucking both of them away....

£85 seems a little too expensive to me. I paid £130 for all four brand new games. I'm in need of another Warriors Rage though as mine had an accident. So if you know where I can pick one up for cheap, even cart only let me know. I'd appreciate it.

Oh yes, Ravengames will hose you....but I believe they are more prompt with delivery and what have you, than....Vektorlogic, who supplies Raven games with HNG stuff...

Vektorlogic, however is a lot more reasonable with the pricing....to the point I'm amost tempted to deal with him...

That is about right for a full kit. I paid a similar price for my English Warrior's Rage kit.

Yes, Samurai Showdown 64 is a full 3D game. Gameplay is like Virtua Fighter, and Soul Edge, and for being a full 3D game is not that bad. In my opinion, it is one of the best weapons based 3d fighter.

Get Samurai Showdown 64 first. You will have more fun with SS64 compared to FFWA.

In my opinion, Buriki One is a masterpiece. Pleople who bash this game, do not understand it, do not appreciate it, or simply do not know how to play with it. It was an innovative game from the late SNK Corp.

Actually, by the time the Hyper Neo Geo 64 came out, it was already inferior to the N64 in the graphics department.

Warrior's Rage is badass, but so jaggy I thought something was wrong with my cart for the longest time. [based off comparing the polygon edges to FFWA, and Buriki which are slicker looking] But definitely my second favorite, Buriki holds the gold for me.

Imho FFWA is easily the best looking hyper64 game, both for character models and all-round presentation. Anyways, SS64-2 is a good buy and a great game, but I find it a bit slow and ugly. I still really enjoy it though.

Buriki One is hands down the hyper64 game I get most excited about. Really compelling and addictive gameplay, I couldn't put it down when I first got my hyper64 and barely played the other games for the first few weeks.
