I have G4 on my satelite dish and it is indeed playing on monday. I have a tivo so I can record it.. but i dont know how to get it off and share it with other ppl. I could probably tape it to some vcr tapes but idk if i can transfer it to my comp.

Tivo hacks Generally aren't too hard... but in order to get your data off of it, you need to open it up and connect the Tivo's HD to your computer to get the file off of it, also the tivo filesystem (NTFS I believe) runs linux so that could provide some trouble, and when you do get the file, it's a very large HQ Mpeg-2 File, so before putting it on a filesharing service it would need to be converted to Divx, or a lower quality MPEG.

As this would be your first attempt, I would reccomend against it, as it can be somewhat tricky, and you will of course void your warranty when you open it up.

Tivo Captures when properly converted provide some of the best video quality thoh, imo.

It would be my first try and it seems a bit complicated.. however my tivo is hooked up to my vcr so as along as people dont mind that its on a tape... I could buy some blank tapes and record it onto a blank for anyone who wants it.

a video capture encoded THAT day, then swapped via a torrent, or Kazaa, or even on a HTTP Server (temporarily of course) would get to viewers faster than it would take to mail it to them, and in relatively better (digital quality) I'm sure someone will be up to the task.

If I wasnt lazy I could try to record it using my digital camera but I only have a 128 mb card and I'd probably run out of space.

Is the SNK Icons show on Monday? I thought it was on next Thursday.
Yeah, I'm sure someone will have it out on P2P. Hint ;)

Download the 2 minute teaser for a preview of G4techTV's upcoming show covering the history of SNK. (Movie clip is 14.5 MB) The full completed show will air on August 19th, 9:30 PM CST.

I thought it was on Thursday.

I'd love to see this show but don't get G4. I sure hope someone can get a copy of this up for download :envy:

A Bittorrent tracker could easily be set up using NG.com's server if Shawn wanted to do so...

Well, I'm planning to tape it, but I haven't the foggiest idea how to upload it to my comp, not to mention that my comps can't handle that... :envy:
But yeah, I'm certain that someone else will upload it. I don't know how they can fit the entire history of SNK into a half-hour, but if they can get in half of the stuff in that Gamespot SNK History article, that would be considered a success. It would be nice if they touch on the SamSho5Special fatality brouhaha, SNKGrish and teh Game Lord, that would be nice. :buttrock:
