I've heard JPN version (Famicom Mini) has all 4 levels but US only has three?

If it's true then what the heck is NOA thinking?

Well, the original NES version is missing the factory level, too. It was cut from the NES release for space reasons (this is before they figured out how to excise that limit and before the disk system, folks). They just want it to be exactly like the NES version... including the missing level.

And FYI, the e-Reader version of Donkey Kong is missing that level, too.

I heard that after you beat the first four, it opens up different maps where you find a key to get to the last stage where donkey kong is.

I guess Nintendo skip school on perfecting emulation. Insted of giveing fans a port of the Arcade version. We get a water down version insted. Some body e-mail Nintendo and tell them, this isn't the 80's any more. Hardware limitation's should not be, a factor for what we got today. :oh_no:

If it was the arcade version the classic nes title would not fit now would it? :oh_no:

It isn't a factor. Like others have said, this is port of the already imperfect NES port of Donkey Kong. If they added that 4th level, then it wouldn't be a true port of the nes version. My friend has the e-reader version of DK and I'm guessing that has all 4 levels, but I may be wrong.

e-reader/games downloaded from animal crossing are all true nes ports. None of them have the missing level.

I know it was, Nintendo idea since they wanted it. To be like the, NES version in the frist place. It just seems like a waste to me. Times like these it makes me mad when compenys cut corners on, ports or emulation of old games. Then agian i guess that's what Mame is for. If your not satisfied with the product.
