So I want to burn my own Bios.......

So what kind of hardware do I need? I know I need an eeprom programmer, but are there specific models of programmers that I need? Also, what kind of chips does it use?

Anyway, what all would I need to burn these suckers myself? I'm a total n00b here. Some links to buy the hardware would be a huge plus.

Perhaps this could help.... most definitely cheaper just to buy the bios aready done for you unless you entend to make a bunch for whatever purpose...

If you just want a programmer to burn one chip then its going to far far cheaper to simply buy the chip rather than a programmer and adapter.
