Need replacement volume knob for Hyper 64

Hey everyone,

I can't believe it - I broke the volume knob on my Hyper 64... only the black plastic part - not the actual metal volume knob..

I know this is poor behaviour - but this post really is a begging letter...

I know there are lots of people out there with broken Hyper's, please would you consider selling me a volume knob?? I'm obviously not willing to pay major cash for it - but I am upset that I've damaged my 64..

Also, it was a birthday present from my girlfriend (how cool is that?!?) and I know she'll kill me if I tell her... help a guy out??

PS. Apologies to everyone who may have already read this in the Hyper 64 forum - kinda emergency..

FYI, Radio-shack ( dunno if its called that near you ) sells volume knobs that fit pretty much everything.. basically a Circle with a Tiny Screw that holds it in place...

and i think i paid $3 for a bag of 10 ... and thats overpriced ... but they do the job every time... i beleive you can even order them at www.radioshack.com ... its worth a look...

Thanks for the advice - its not that I NEED to have a plastic knob, I can just turn the metal part... its more for the collection and knowing that I've done the best I can, I just want to get an original Hyper 64 knob back on my board - so.. I'm still hoping that a kind samaritan will rescue me from this problem..
