I have read you guys talk about KOF NeoWave and MaxImpact. But what about EVERY OTHER Atomiswave game out or coming out? Not to say I'm not interested in either game, because I am, but they arent the only two titles to come out on the system. What about Guilty Gear X 1.5 or Guilty Gear Isuka, both of those games, especially Isuka, look fucking awesome....so are they? I live in Minnesota and I maybe I just don't know where to look, but arcades here suck and seeing a Neo game is hard enough to find let alone an atomiswave game, I haven't been to GameWorks for a few months, but it seems that they don't really get a lot of new games in there very often. Last time I was there they had no Neo machines or Atomiswaves either. The only fighting games they have are VF4, Soul Caliber 2, MvC2, and I think one more. So to find out if a new NEO-GEO games or Atomiswave games are good I almost have to bite the bullet and buy it to find out if the games are good or not (Samurai Shodown V). So anyways what about any of these games that are already out??????
-Dolphin Blue
-RumbleFish
-Demolishfist
-Guilty Gear X 1.5
-Guilty Gear Isuka
-And some of the other games..

Also what about other games that are supposed to come out in the future like...
-Samurai Shodown VI
-Metal Slug VI

And has anyone heard rumors of other games like
-Last Blade III
-Mark of the Wolves 2
-LB vs SS????? -I've never heard of it coming out but it should.

I just feel that the forums have pretty much focused on the KOF games and have said very little about the other ones. Maybe that's because of lack of information on other future titles. But please don't tell me that I'm the only one who is SUPER FUCKING PUMPED to see a NEW Samurai Shodown game on the atomiswave. I bought my Neo-Geo MVS board for my arcade machine because of Samarai Shodown and Metal Slug, and the same goes for the Atomiswave (well Guilty Gear helps too).

Could any of you give any info on these OTHER Atomiswave games, if you could me and I'm sure others of you would be greatful.

P.S. I 've already played Dolphin Blue and Demolish fist, I just wanted to use them as examples. For those who haven't played them, Dolphin Blue is like Metal Slug w/o blood or metal slugs instead they ride dolphins and there are a lot of 3d sprites but your characters and the soldiers you fight are 2d very
cartoonish and fun, but has some slowdown when there is a lot of action on the screen at one time. Demolish fist is like a 3d version of Final Fight or like playing Die Hard Arcade, It's three buttons attack, block, and jump. Definitely a button masher seems like their could have been a lot more to the game if there where more buttons and moves (then the game would have been good) but I feel that I played through it just to see the end, after about a level or 2 you get bored with pressing attack over and over.

Tung fu ru, you're not missing much. I'll tell you right now that the Rumble Fish and Guilty Gear Isuka are very seldomly played in the few arcades that I've seen carrying them. I actually feel that both titles offer something innovative to the fighting game genre, but unfortunately they lack the holding power, the grip that, say, KoF has.

Believing that you've already read about these games in websites and magazines, I'm just going to describe my impressions of these titles.

As you probably know, Rumble Fish uses the same 3D anime style sprites seen in Dolphin Blue. The overall feel of it (based on its speed, moves, combos...you know, the feel of it) reminds me of the Street Fighter Alpha series. The title borrows and tweaks a number of features that we associate with fighting games (including things like showing battle damage on a fighter by way of ripped clothing, something I haven't seen since Art of Fighting), but doesn't really offer anything spectacularly new to the genre except for its innovative graphics. It's decent, but unfortunately doesn't have anything to really hold me to it.

Guilty Gear Isuka is a little weird. As you may remember, the concept is to take Guilty Gear XX and make it so that 4 fighters could battle it out simultaneously. As you can imagine, this can get messy unless there was some very clever way to implement the idea. Unfortunately, Isuka doesn't really have any clever way, so any fight with more than 2 players just turns out to be a Monkey Panic brawl that is too chaotic to be enjoyed.

In conclusion, the 2 above titles experiment with a number of different ideas, but overall just gives a "meh" response after the initial awe wears off (which passes in about 20 seconds, really). Having said that, I feel that Atomiswave is doing a great service by trying out ideas that nobody else has dared; by pushing the limits of arcade games, I think AW will match the likes of Namco one day...but it is not this day. Just looking at its partnership with Neo Geo, I think games like Rumble Fish and Isuka are merely a springboard for something much greater.

If you want to play atomiswave in MN, go to Wally*World. They have that Atomiswave hunting game there near the entrance.

I heard Capcom Fighting Jam is on System 246 not Atomiswave.

Atomiswave

I am interested in playing the Fighting games mostly. But thanks for the heads up on the hunting game, so far the gun games by sammy I feel are only OK, but I think that they might make Buck Hunter games as well, and if that's the case, those games I like but know aren't atomiswave. And I also know for sure that the Capcom Fighting Jam is on the system 246 not atomiswave or Naomi at least not yet.

As for Rumble Fish, after playing it would you think it would be cool to own or does the game lose it's appeal too quickly.
