Baseball Stars Pro-need help on the bonuses

Ok, this is one of the greatest games ever, but i need help in unlocking the bonus teams and players that i am not sure if they even exist. All of the gamefaqs and other game code and cheat sites are very vague and akwardly worded, so i am not clear on what exactly i am supposed to do. Do you need to beat every team in vs. mode and win a pennant, or just win a pennant. Does this need to be done in one sitting without turning the neo geo off. and once unlocked, do the bonus teams or players stay unlocked, i guess saved to the memory card, for use every time you play. someone please tell me what they can, and if this rumor is true or not.

Which Baseball Stars are you referring to?
I've played the AES/MVS versions to death and don't recall seeing any bonus teams.
Unless you're referring to the Neo Pocket version...

The AES version. look it up in gamefaqs, or here for that matter, and anywhere else, they all tell you stuff is unlockable.

does anyone know anything about this, i have researched it to death, and everywhere tells me this can be done. but no matter what i do, nothing ever gets unlocked. i cant even find anyone stating this is an untrue rumor. please help if you have any info

Or its the NGPC one or the NG CD one...

i know there is a similar unlock for the ngpc, and i know for a fact it works, but there is so much all over the cheat and code sites claiming that it is the same for the aes version. ive tried everything and beaten everthing, but still nothing unlocked. is this just a rumor then, i guess

I had no idea that any unlockables existed for the game. Over the last 10 years, I've finished the pennant mode with every team and have never seen anything out of the ordinary.

i too have played it to death, but came across the listings on gamefaqs, and then several more sites with the exact same thing, so i took it for the truth.
