I'm gonna give it a chance. Sure it looks nice, but we'll see how it pans out in the gamplay department.

I will get it as well, I am interested in seeing how SNK works with 3D nowadays.

I'll get it if it gets some positive reviews. Seeing as how I'm not a huge 3D fighting fan to begin with, it wouldn't really make much sense for me to get a mediocre 3D fighter just because it's from SNKP.

From who? Seems to me that many, if not most of the SNK games everyone loves never got positive reviews.

Getting the import, should be here in a few days I hope. :D

Same good 2D gameplay and the best graphics a KOF game has seen well ever.

I'd have prefered high res 2D, but this does look awesome.

i enjoy watching high level vs matches at vf4 or soul calibur 2

but never really cared about 3d fighters

not my cup of tea

so now we have a kof with 2d gameplay and slightly below average 3d gfx...

hmm

if i really wanted to play a 3d game,id play virtua

if i want to play a 2d game,well there are tons already available

i fail to see the point in this MI release...

and the majority of ps2 owners are going to ignore it completely,
because omg gfx sucxxxx

and because they have no clue about kof

...

ah !

So you basically care more about graphics than you do about good gameplay.

Also I donno what game you're looking at but MI's graphics are on par with VF4, Tekken 4, and SC2.

As for the crazy bit, I'm glad to say that most gamers today would think you're the one with a few screws loose, but I'm sure you knew that already. :D

At least it's coming to the UK, fuck all else KOF does so this will suffice.

This will be the 3D fighting game of the year, so yes nothing can stop me from buying it :)

EDIT:

And KOF MI does not have below average graphics, it actually looks like it is about at the same level as Tekken 4

I'll be picking it up regardless of whatever reviews it gets. I'll spend quite a bit of time going through and seeing what's possible and just overall studying the game. Approaching it optimistically..

I'll glance at the ratings at www.gamerankings.com just to get their sentiments, but I'll mostly rely on what you guys think. It's obvious to me that there are quite a few members here that are in a better position to review an SNK game that the mainstream mags/websites. Or any game, for that matter.

- Maybe if have a few $$$ left after I buy : Halo2, Doom 3, a Nintendo DS and 2 games, Pinball Hall of Fame, Killzone, Burnout 3, SF Anniversary, Phantom Brave, Silent Hill 4 and all the other crap publishers are throwing at us for this Q4!


Looks like I need to quit my job if I want to find time to play all these before the end of the year!!!

Not really, they may be on par with Bloody Roar Extreme, but not Virtua Fighter 4, Tekken 4 or Soul Calibur2.

Maybe a little close to Soul Calibur2 though.
