Not really. Those are just launch titles biatch.

In that case, it is good.

It will be interesting to see the differences between games released on both PSP and DS.

Um, no I don't think so . . . those aren't all launch titles, that list is of ALL titles in development. Launch titles will probably be like 5 lame games . . . and if this goes the way of the Virtual Boy, count on a total games list well under 30 for the life of the system. :shame:

I really don't like it when Bryce is right. There are only about a half dozen interesting titles there. What the hell is the point of this new system again?
fight competition, what?

making another handheld that competes/clashes with your own = LAME.

Oh, and another Megaman network game from Crapcom doesn't surprise me in the least.

If you are right on that, that list is not as interesting or big as the PSP game list.

What big list of PSP games. It has less interesting things on it.
Metal Gear Acid? Gran Turismo 4? um, a port of Ridge Racer and Medievil?
Maybe the Vampire Chronicles game. What else?

I HAVE NOTHING OF VALUE TO ADD TO THIS THREAD

Please just shut up. Does it get you off or something to post your rabid nintendo hating bullshit? Normally i'd just put you on my ignore list (oh, i've tried), but I can't because you're a mod.

Your anti-nintendo crap is worse then Galfordo in a political thread.

For the haters, what exactly does the PSP offer that is so brilliantly better than the DS.

Anyway, the original PSP

The DS is a "gamers" machine - made for games for people who likes games (i.e. good gameplay - I'm not talking good cut scenes here).

Sometimes an innnovations catches on, sometimes it does not (Virtual Boy was a good idea, just too early has it would have asked for better hardware, as - is it Samsung? - just released 3D laptops and desktops screens. You could basically have a VirtualBoy in the form of the SP, which would certainly catch on better than the original did thanks to color and portability).

I like Sony's for its design but appart from the original step up in graphics the only thing Sony has done for videogaming is to generalize cut-scenes - which is not what I want to do in a game (thanks I have a DVD player). I want gameplay in my games and Nintendo almost always offers that - thus resulting in a higher ratio of good games on Nintendo machines.

Its not to say that there is no good games on Sony consoles (after all Namco, Sega, Konami... also develop good games with great gameplay) but there is more crap and SNK fans should now as we are the 1st to suffer from the "no great 2D games please, bring the crappy 3D ones with long cut scenes that look awsome".

In any case I'm happy with this new try from Nintendo to pull the video game industry up by introducing new technology into the market : voice command and touch screen does bring a new experience. We all know its also feasable on a PS2, XBox, Cube but give it up to Nintendo for trying.

I personnaly hope its going to be a success but I am very worried that most (all?) the games that are going to really use the voice/touch features to their full potentials will be 1st party.

'nuff said. it already looks dated and is so not future facing. I mean, what does the PSP do for gaming? other than get graphics whores weak in the knees? if PSP was to be released by, say, Nokia, some of you would be laughing. Sony - simply stunning

Gran Turismo 4 Mobile
WipEout Pure
Sangoku Musou
Metal Gear Acid
Tales of Eternia
Piposaru
Breath of Fire
Vampire Chronicle
Minna no Golf
Super Robot Taisen
Tengai Makyou
Viewtiful Joe
Winning Eleven
Ys VI

Well, I believe only Nintendo games will truly make use of the second screen and touchpad, most other developers will most likely use it for "maps", no innovation at all. This will most likely render development teams "uncomfortable" with the hardware, also considering that 128Mb carts are more expensive than 1.8Gb optical media.

And setting a 128Mb limit for developers has nothing to do with cutscenes, you are simply setting a limit for games and developers.
