I uploaded some pictures I took

http://community.webshots.com/user/prismpunk

My 2 favorites are my band pictures with Billy Talent and Rise Against

In Order I saw:

Billy Talent (Very Energetic... a little too much screaming though)

The Code (Stage was too small for such a good hardcore act)

Anti Flag (Played "Turncoat" otherwise too much Bush Bashing)

International Noise Conspiracy (Refused lead singer made me wet my pants)

Tiger Army (Very Good performance.. loved the bass)

Rise Against (Performed new songs and some classics)

The Matches (Horrible)

The Casualties (Really Funny hehe)

Thursday (Standard performance.. decent)

Underoath ( Played "When Sun Sleeps", biggest circle pit all day)

Yellowcard ( Seen them before.. ok but they were the closing band and I had to watch them)

The Code was easily the best band I had seen all day.

The weather was very nice but there was way too much dust and it was way too dry outside. I came home and blew my nose and black shit came out due to the dust buildup.

If your a democrat you would love the warped tour.

This year though they were really trying to push their cds alot.... the warped tour is getting more corporate and mainstream as the years go on.. but as long as theres one decent band out there its worth going to. Cant beat the price for a full day's worth of music.

Overall- B+

Those Pix with Billy Talent and Rise Against Are Totally rad man...

I've seen Billy Talent twice in san francisco, and They really put on a freaking great show...the lead singer *really* goes all out.

Billy Talent, Rise Against, Yellowcard, and Anti-Flag would be the bands i'd be most interested in seeing.

Rise Against is easily one of my Favorite bands today, I listen to Revolutions Per Minute, and The Unraveling constantly.

www.purevolume.com/riseagainst

There Streaming the new cd "Siren Song of the Counter Culture"

Some of the songs are a little dumbed down but it still has the rise against edge and its overall a very good cd.. im looking to pick it up on tuesday.

The Warped tour is a joke. Hardly any good band play the tour, and everyone there thinks they are hardercore than thou. Out of all those bands that you mention, the Code, TINC, and maybe Anti-Flag are the only bands worth seeing. Rise Against were never that great, and there newest cd is way over produced. And no Rise Against doesn't have the new lead singer. I haven't been to the Warped tour in years, but I assume that punkvoter.com was all over the place. Punkvoter.com is no better than Fox News when it comes to reporting the news. Sorry for the rant. :)

Did The Code do their cover of "Unity"? That would have definately made the show.

Real Big Fish did a god awful one, that's the one that I can think of off the top of my head. If you want another good band ska/punk, check out the new Leftover Crack cd. But by the comments on Anti-Flag's Bush bashing, I don't know if you would approve of it. :D

I just think all the bush bashing gets stale and people should just wait until the elections... however I love leftover crack and all of their spinoffs. My fav is INDK and then Morning Glory.. I cant wait for their new cd.. fav songs are rent for sale and gang control.

I have only been to a hand full of concerts, but I have seen Billy Talent twice. Those boys put on a good show.

I never dug Leftover Crack, was always more into Choking Victim.

BTW, ehh, I have to disagree with Anti-flag, but it's okay because you dig Against Me! - (Reinventing Axl Rose > As The Eternal Cowboy)

Warped is just selling the "punk image".

WOO.

I never like Leftover Crack, until their new cd. Their new cd, blew me away with amount of talent they have.

I didn't say Anti-Flag was great, but they are a lot better than most sreamo and pop-punk bands out there. Plus they actually research their songs and they did give away there new cd before it came out to everyone that attended their 10 or so concerts before it's release. Even though their last cd wasn't the greatest and it was poppy, at least they are trying to do something.

Against Me! is great, I would say that As The Eternal Cowboy and RAR are about equal to me, and their older stuff like crime is better. I have a couple of videos of their recent shows and some of their new songs are their best yet.

Not only are they selling the punk image, but with the amount of sponsers that they have, they must be making an ass load of cash. Plus to me, shows are a whole lot better when they are at night and in places that hold 100-400 people.

I'm guessing that meant you haven't heard Choking Victim? They're basically the same band, just Leftover Crack dropped a few people and got some new ones.

Yeah, I do dig the older acoustic stuff (their demo tape I think is the best overall). I haven't heard any of their new stuff, i'll have to check up on that.

No I have all the Choking Victim stuff, plus almost all the stuff from the c-squat bands. I just thought "Fuck World Trade" is the best, most musically talented cd from all the bands.

I like Crime and the S/T acoustic the best. The demo tape is good, but the sound quality is sub-par, even for punk. :D

Wow, you must have a fucking killer music collection.

Yeah, I really dig the S/T -- Reinventing Axl Rose is best acoustic IMO.

Crime overall has great songs. But then again, I haven't heard any song from Against Me! that i've hated.

yeah, the sound quality sucks ass for the demo tape, but there (or should I say his) lyrics are amazing.

I'm pissed that Against Me! and Social Distortion aren't going to play anywhere outside of CA, I would've loved to see them together.

The Sounds were the only band worth seeing at the Warped Tour and they were only in the first half or so. Which of course means they didn't come back to Orlando. :crying:

Millencolin did a cover of 'Knowledge' that was pretty cool.

I thought Bad Religion were playing this year? don't tell me you missed them, that'd be a crime.

Yellowcard is absolute garbage, i saw them support LTJ on the uk tour a few months back, proper rubbish, and lyrics that make me want to shove my head into a blender.
