All PAL PS2 users have always been pissed because most games don't have 60 hz option. Well, I just found out that this Xploder cheat disc allows you to force PAL games to boot in 60 hz. However, unfortunately the screen gets discentered if you do so. If the game has a centering screen option you can solve this problem(or at least partially).

The speed increases a lot, and you "get rid" of the annoying black bars and chopped screen, with the limitation of the discentered screen, so you get a black bar in the top and miss a chunk of the screen in the bottom, unless you can correct it in the game options, or maybe your TV settings.

Great find. How does it work with Stikers? Does it improve it at all?

Does anyone know why the PS2 and XBOX don't have import enabler disks?

Because Sony and Microsoft made sure they couldn't be made as easily as for the GameCube.

I tried it with Strikers 1945 I&II, and it improves its speed and overall feel a lot, however it doesn't have a screen center option, so it has a bar in the top, and you miss a portion of the screen in the bottom. :oh_no:

Yeah, this thing also has multiregion DVD, but you can't boot imports just with it. For some reason there are no boot discs for that for Xbox or PS2, you need a modchip for that, which in adition should allow you to boot back-ups. The GC has freeloader, but they needed a lot of time and versions to make it work right.

Actually, the xbox hardware is region free, it is the game publishers that put in the regional lockout. Sometimes they don't, as there are a bunch of US games which work on PAL xbox.

And Sony are just cunts.

I know the Xbox is essentially region free, but they've still not been able to make a region locked game boot on a console of the incorrect region with a boot-disc...

Nice find, i'll have to check this out, despite the Strikers pack problems.

Shame....overall, the Strikers pack quality far exceeds its price, the 50HZ thing is a bumber though.
