I still have the promo folder from the 2003 E3 show, I remember hearing that some people sold it for upwards of like 60 dollars or something absurd on Ebay. Is this thing worth selling? Or should I just chuck it?

You should keep it, unless you are in need of 30-40 USD. I don't plan to sell mine at least.

Well, I would think that once the game is released, something like this would decrease in value, unless you're a fanatical MGS fan and have to have absolutely everything.

I understand what you mean, but most Metal Gear fanatics already have the press kit, eBay is full of them. Seriously, I don't believe it will decrease or increase in value, even after release. Not worth selling for that little amount of money. I will keep mine, and, if for some reason it increases value in the future, I may sell it.

Once more, if you are in need of 30-40 USD, sell it.

If you are going to chuck it, chuck it into a box and send it my way. I'd gladly take it off your hands. And I would pay shipping of course.

Seanathon,

Guess what? I've got the E3 demo disk. Works on MOD'ed PS2s.

?? It's not an LP, it's a CD packaged to look like an LP. Or do you mean you wouldn't want it because you don't have anything else LP-looking to put it with? Collector mentality is so funny.

Anyway, I got one and being a fan of the series, I enjoyed listening to the one song and looking at the pictures. If you were going to sell it, I think you're right that you probably ought to do it now. Before the game is released, and one of Kojima's 'twists' pisses people off all over again. I'm sure there are plenty here that would want it.

I got mine from lemonflav for only $25.00USD + S&H, I'd say $60.00 is a bit too much for the package that includes a paper model of the METAL GEAR unit itself, that I must say is a bitch to build. *However, if you're like me and must own everything M.G. then pay the price. If you're good at 3-D puzzles {which I'm not} then the METAL GEAR should be a cinch to tape together. So you don't fuck up the value of the packet, you should match the same paper consistency of the originals then have it color xeroxed onto it. ---That's what I did, I never completed the model though, got half way through it.

...I say go for it man!

I knew it was a CD, I didn't just *casually* glance at it... and I think it is a novel idea... but moreso to the people that have LP's...

If I wanted the OST i'd buy the OST...

I would not have anywhere to store that... my Media Racks are big Enough for Homecarts, VHS, DVD, And CD stuffs... but LP's Require Differnet Racks/Shelves ETC...

Where would I keep it? On a table on display... bah
