I also love Pilot Wings64. It's probably the #1 reason I don't just get rid of the N64. I like putting on the birdman suit and gliding around the island. It's relaxing like looking at a fishtank. Absolutely no purpose at all. Zelda and Mario, obviously.
I also will go against the grain by saying I enjoyed the Castlevanias. Not the greatest, but good fun once you get used to it, and a good story. And now that Castlevania LOI is here, the N64 CVs are no longer the worst in the series. Here's a fun thing about them: you can actually die. There are places where if you miss a jump, you will die instead of just falling to a lower level or something. Wheeee, kind of like the old days.
Other than that, not so much. Certainly nothing worth paying the expensive cart prices at the time, compared to PS or SS games that cost half. What's kind of sad is that of the 4 best reasons to own a N64 IMO (Mario64, Pilot Wings, Zelda OOT and Zelda MM), 2 of them were launch titles. If I hadn't've got the N64 as a gift, I might've been pissed.
