I'll probably just grab it for the bawkz .... I really don't feel like dumping 2 grand into a PC just to be able to play a game with full detail. I'm glad to hear that it won't be that long before it finally hits a console - hopefully it be delayed or some $hyte.

While the cost isn't 2 grand, I'm also just not big on constant upgrades to my PC to play a game, so XBox will be cool with me, not all that excited about it anyway, enemy designs kinda sucked last I saw.

How nice is nice? I'm guessing that to make up for the lack of processing power, I'll need one of those $500 jobs (thankfully I've got the ram part covered). Which card did you get that allows you to have what you consider a worthwhile Doom 3 experience?

When I get home from work today, I'm gonna experiment with the better graphics settings and probably dl that beta ati driver.
