Castlevania, w00t!

Amen. Let's hope this sucker isn't too far away, I could definitely use another proper dose of some vampire killin' action. I also really want to see the new side-scrolling Mario title. Hopefully it picks up where Super Mario World/Yoshi's Island left off.

Real classic platforming will never die. So much fun.
C'mon Tecmo...cough us up a real 2D Ninja Gaiden while you're at it.
Punch-Out best be coming too.

spong.com is right. Team Ninja just wants to do some touch-screen boobies

Too optimistic, I must say ;)

But I would love to be proved wrong. With all that anime spreading worldwide, maybe 'too-japanese' games stand a better chance to be released outside Japan.

Nintendogs was a voice recognition demo at E3 that was used to show off the DS built in mic. I'm suprised to see Vandal Hearts, Winning Eleven, and a new Mana game. The others I either knew about or am not suprised to see them. I am glad to see that Square-Enix's FF:CC game is a new one and not just a low end port of the Gamecube version. I certainly hope they use the chance to fix some of the flaws in the first one. Add in more variety between characters, a more involved storyline, and tweak the controls and combat a little bit and they could have a winner. Since each game could run idependantly on each players DS I hope they allow for characters to move about more.

Nothing really special in here............

Every time I see the new titles coming out on the next generation console/handheld, every time it reminds me how good 16-bit/32-bit era in the old days...........

Why does Konami feel the need to make a new Survival Kids?

Did the original sell well in Japan?

Yay at all these.

Especially Gyakuten Saiban! I can't wait to see how they pull this off with the touch screen. Maybe all the evidence will be down there, and you select it with the stylus at the appropriate time.

I wish Sega would make a new portable Sakura game though. Preferably a table/card game collection, like Open Dice, with WiFi support!

Winning Eleven Series

Seriously cool announcements here.

Normally, I can't stand handhelds, but I'll probably pick up a DS on the Japanese launch. Of course, I'll probably sell it a few months later too, but nevertheless, some really promising titles here.

Winning Eleven could be especially good if it effectively utilizes both screens, especially if one of the screens (preferably the touch-screen) could have not only a top-down layout view of the pitch, but also roster information for player substitutions and formation changes without the need for tons of submenus.

You should try the Gyakuten Saiban series gmw, I think you'd really like it.

The court-room simulator type thing for GBA, correct?

Haven't had a GBA in a long time - like almost all handhelds, I bought one at release, played it a few times, and promptly sold it. I read some reviews of games in the series on a few Japanese sites, and it always sounded somewhat interesting. Maybe I'll pick one up when the DS comes out.

Yes. Who knew such a strange idea would work out so well?

The characters and humor sort of pull the whole thing together, it's a great series.

Its a crying shame too. Vagrant Story is one of the best games ever made. I don't really care if we get a sequel (it'd be nice) but at least give us another action RPG that uses the exact same combat and weapon building system. I'll stop now because i could talk forever about how absolutely wonderful this game is.

And in other news: I cannot wait for the DS to launch. I am very excited about this handheld.
