Morning Musume fever, now an official epidemic!

I had been trying to understand the phenomenon that is Morning Musume, this J-Pop group of cute girls has had more reincarnations than Doctor Who and probably pushing for just as much longevity as the Time Lords, but up until now all I was aware of was the headlines that Morning Musume seemed to command all the time in all forms of media, never once heard a single song from the group. Then my friend hooked me up with 1 mp3, which I couldn't make out very well from kinda bad speakers from a laptop, yet enough to convince me to plunge down 16 dollars for what used to be a 32 dollar CD at Kinokuniya....

And now, I have Morning Musume fever in a really bad way! Absolutely infectious energy, it's like a party, and like, everyone is invited to participate! Any other Morning Musume lovers on this board?

half the girls in that group are UNDER 16, you like em REAL young if you dig those chicks.... thats why they keep getting replaced like every year or two, when they get too old (like 18) they bring in fresh meat.

I won 3 auction listings of Morning Musume's first 4 album as well as the Best vol.1, and frankly haven't put down my CD player since I received them on Thursday. It's great to be able to follow the evolution of the group from a group of somewhat timid, undeveloped voice talents to the now mature, self-confident group of 12.

Excellent.

Now you have to get the Shuffle Unit (Sexy 8/Happy 7/Odoru 11) CD.
