Here it is, JMK, the wiring diagram for the AES controller before the LED button mod:

The wiring for each LED in each button runs from each button 5+v terminal to the resistors en route to the LEDs; each wire coming from each LED on the output goes to a common terminal; soon as I can, I'll write out a wiring diagram and scan it.
