Are Pokemon cards worth anything anymore??

Just a question,because I have like 6 complete sets of the fuckers,including the very 1st.I also have some of the promos from the Pokemon League (yes,in was that obsessed ok).So,you think these will be worth anything in the distant future? I remember a Charizard being like 150$$ a pop for a 1st edition,now its like 5.00$.But you think the sets will be worth atleast something??

You know, it's sad. My friend sold his small collection of cards a few years ago for like $150 and I sold my collection (150+ cards, including like 14 holographic) a couple of years ago for $15. Oh, was I pissed.

Yea,that sucks.Im just wondering if the sets are worth anything,or if they will be in the future.

I remember at the height of the Pokemon card craze...the two arcades that I work at both had sticker machines and I'd buy the cases straight from Wizards of the Coast and set them up in the machines at $1 a pop...those machines were making $300 a WEEK!!! :eek:

Best part was I had to open the packs and set them up so I was able to keep the holos and the high value cards and sell them to suckers...I mean buyers for big bucks! (didn't matter the value of the card, I was paying a average 35 cents a card regardless)

When the craze began to die out, we stopped with the Pokemon and pulled out at the right time. We also did the same thing with Yu-Gi-Oh cards but it wasn't the same...only $100 or so a week...

Most Pokemon cards are now a fraction of what ppl were paying for though I still have a few holo cards sealed along with the original Japanese keychains hooked with them...collecting dust ;)

I remember wane i would go to EB kids would come in to the store all the time asking for the cards and they would all way be sold out. wane they did have some EB sold 2 packs person. the kids would get pissed off they want to get more then 2 packs. :lol: they would wait for a new person to come for work so they could buy more packs and some times they got away with it. some times the other person that sold to them that day saw them and would like dont sell to them i all redy sold them 2 packs today and would kick them out of the store some times they would get other peeps to buy them for them.

THAT CRAZY POKEMON CRAZ I GLAD THATS OVER
