The first time I heard them, I wanted to burn my ears off and put
them somewhere I'd never fucking be able to find them.

Now, after hearing that "A Favor House Atlantic" song about 47,000
times - I enjoy it.

You can listen to the pain here: http://www.purevolume.com/coheedandcambria

The end is near.

The comic book, which is an expansion of the lyrics of the first two songs on Second Stage Turbine Blade, and just came out this week (availible on Warped Tour, San Diego ComicCon, and on their website). It was written by Claudio (vocalist) and drawn by some guy nobody ever heard of. The next issue due out in winter is based on Devil in Jersey City. There should be 4 issues after that, after which the plan is to move onto the second album.

And I dig the band, too. Seen them a few times over the last year and a half when they're in town.

Coheed and Cambria put on a hell of a show last fall at the Warfield, with Thrice and Thursday...

The lead singer is a trip, his voice doesn't look like it should come out of his body...

He even plays with his Teeth ala Hendrix... it was madness...

I don't listen to them much though... although Devil in Jersey City is Badass...

Sellouts!
?? If you mean about doing the comic, that's something Claudio's wanted to do since the formation of the band. The lyrics of all the planned albums form the story. And he wrote and scripted the comic himself.

Yeah, the voice doesn't match the body.

The first time I heard them, I thought the lead singer was a girl - and
then as I watched the video, there were no girls in the band.

I thought "fucking transvestite!"

Either way, they are good now.

I don't know why eceryone thinks they are so great. The are just like every other MTV rock/punk band out there. They are nothing original, and shir0 said only after many forced listenings did he like them. They are the newest thing and will fade off by the end of this year.
