3 is one of the best gaming experiences you can have, an hour of complete craziness. Seems to me like Slug 3 always stays interesting, where Slug X hits a few spots where it gets monotonous. Both solid games tho. Pick Slug3 up now, who knows what the price will do in the future.

The question is not if they are good but will you like them? And that depends on your taste in games. I would suggest you try them before you spend $$$.

I personally think that metal slug 3 is one of the best shooters i have ever played. I mean there is a lot of slack going around because snk tried to add something different to the game but I mean take the game for what it is... one hell of a shooter shortly based outside the traditional sense of a MS. The play mechanics are absolutely great. Plus with the addition of new enemies... adds new strategies that u must take into account along with the new style of gameplay that has to be adapted. Anyways im out.

I'd get the one from the Neostore, but the serial #'s don't match. Sooner or later a matching one is bound to show up!
I just wish I could have beaten you in terms of finishing up the MS MVS set! Take a photo of all the kits lined up once you get them all!

Why anyone would think ms2 is better then X is inane, X is just better in every way. Difficulty is harder for a start and no slowdown. The slowdown totaly ruins ms2, X is what 2 sould've been

2 has a far better color palette
2 has far better choices off bosses
2 has a far better laid out character appearance (mostly the aliens)
All opinions of course but I like 2 much more than X regardless of slowdown.

Hey, I'm the one selling these games! Actually I dont "wanna sell these games". I love them all! I just said "everything is for sale at the right price" (which most likely is way over the priceguide in these cases since I adore these games! Well, some more then other, but still).
Oh and I remember a few years ago, everyone threw shit at MS2 and talked about how much better MSX was at, well, everything (except the color of course). Today its the other way around it seems. For me though, I liked 2 better at first and now I've begun to prefer MSX. It just feels a bit more solid, I dunno. Slowdowns aren't THAT annoying but it sure aint a good thing, ruins the flow (well duh!).

I agree that 2 is better than x.
X- a little too over the top. Too much action is a bad thing=headake
