Thinking of Selling Candy Cabinets UK

Hey there all. Since we all know there seems to be a lack of decent japanese sit-down cabinets in the UK I am thinking of buying around 10 machines from Japan and selling them off here in the UK. However, since there is no way for me to measure how much interest there would be in this item I was hoping anyone looking for one of these cabinets could post their interest here. Of course they would be sold at a reasonable price (hopefully under £500 each depending on freight/customs costs etc.). Please everyone let me know!!!

Theres a guy in Southampton on ebay that does a similar thing on what look like neo 29s (but they are not actually neo 29s).

He does them at £400 each I think.

I think i've seen those ones - £444 buy-it-now.

I'm not sure there is really the demand for cabinets that nice for peoples' homes.
It's a niche market you're going for.
I mean I'd really like one to stick in my garage, but I think I'm gonna go for a regular JAMMA stand-up cabinet for £75-£100.

I have yet to talk to Japanese suppliers as to availability though just seeing if there's enough interest. The main reason behind it all is that I want one of these cabinets and I thought since freight costs are so high for just importing one cabinet I could reduce the cost buy importing 10 and selling 9. I'm not planning on doing this for a living it'd be just this one time.

But I really need to know dimensions of the machine and cost before I could say for certain. I am also just about to move house so I would also not be able to commit until I have moved and know for certain Id have room for it.

I have been looking seriously at the ones on ebay however rbmotoring/arcade infinity dont reply to emails regarding dimensions and shipping.

Without the SF stuff he normally sells for £400 ish.

He is a really nice guy and if all else fails I will buy one.

These things are selling for much much less than that in Japan but getting them here and making a profit must be tight.
