forums broken in Safari

I don't have that problem at all, what version of Safari are you running? The only problem I have is with PHP chat... it has refresh problems.

I've never had any speed issues with Safari unless the site I was visiting was clogged with visitors (such as tsn.ca on deadline days, etc.) or my internet was acting up.
Is this a persistent issue with your browser? How are other sites?
Check your updates, and make sure everything is as new as it can be.

Back to the speed issue, try switching the User Agent that Safari uses from Automatically Chosen to a specific one (IE in its various incarnations, Netscape, Konqueror, etc.)

Yea it is all the animated images... Would be nice to have the list cut down I think, but I am sure there are some that would disagree with that for sure.

The only issue I've really had with Safari and this board is that it only animates one of a given animated GIF at the same time. For example, if you had two of the 
icons, only the last one would be moving. Other than that, I've had no real problems with Safari and N-G.com

I'm running a dual g4 ghz with 1.5 gigs of ram and panther. this is the only site that I have trouble with . Snk-capcom sems to use a simular system and it works great. damn.
