phpchat with firefox (theres a fix, please apply it)

Theres a fix in this thread, its less than a line of code, merely a couple of brackets and an apostrophe or two. Its not that time or effort consuming.

I'll do it.. but I can't

It must be an idiotic "if" at the PHPChat code, that recognizes the browser.

removing it must do the trick. I really doubt that PHPChat uses something that doesn't work well with Mozilla/Firefox.

I don't really use chat that much - so that doesn't really bother me.

However, when I use Firefox, all the animated gifs get revved up to super speed, and the little siren animation that goes next to thread titles runs at super speed also. No biggie, but a little annoying. Otherwise, it's a pretty cool browser.

The thing is, its not just for me, its for every sensible user that decided to switch to another non-IE browser such as firefox.

If they just edited this small piece of code, everyone using firefox would be able to enter PHPchat.

this isn't mere spam.

agreed. I'd like to permanently retire I.E. as that's the only reason I can't migrate completely to firefox.
